Take A Stand At Your School (or gym)
Having your classmates or the members of your gym sign a pledge to stop bullying will help spread the word about the dangers of bullying. Post the flyers around school and then have the student body sign the pledge poster at a convent time of the day (lunch, homeroom, free periods, etc.) Make sure to get approve from your coach/school before implementing this pledge.
Parent's Night Out
Do the parents at your gym love going out for a night? Why not raise money and awareness while you do it. Below is directions and materials so you can plan your night out. (must have Microsoft word to edit)
Start Small. Wrist Band Sales
Think about it, it cost $50 for 100 wrist bands. There is usually 100 people at a gym or over 100 people in a school. If you sell them for $1 that is $50 going back to the fight against bullying. Now think if 100 gyms or school teams did, thats $5,000 going back to the fight against bullying.
Email us cheerleadersagainstbullying@gmail.com with the amount of wrist bands wanted ($1 per wrist band) and you will receive more information about payment
The front should say "Love More, Judge Less"
and the back should say "#CABPROJECT"
All profits of the bands will be donated to Pacer National Bullying Prevention Center
Then E-mail us a picture of your gym or school with your wrist bands and the highest amount of money raised by wrist bands will be featured on our website!
With these marketing materials and event plans this makes it easy for your squad to get out there and make a difference. If it's something small or something big, every bit counts. Directions are provided on how to run an event and get your community involved. It's time to spread some awareness about how we can stop bullying. As this project continues to grow we hope to be able to provide these items to you.
If you use any materials or raise any money please let us know by sending a copy of everything to our email so we can keep track of how big of a difference the cheerleading community is
